The Management Console will likely have issues trying to create a web site in IIS6. The System Administrator will need to manage the application / application pools manually for upgraded Ad Hoc instances in IIS6.

UI: Chart QuickTipsAdded the ability to hover the mouse over a chart display element and show the associated data.

Performance: ActiveSQL DatalayersAdded a new feature to improve the overall performance of Ad Hoc when querying large databases. A new ActiveSQL datalayer has been implemented that significantly improves the initial reporting response time. Note: For Ad Hoc instances that are upgraded from V10 this feature is disabled by default. For new Ad Hoc instance created in V11.2, the feature is enabled by default. The ActiveSQL feature is controlled by the ahUseActiveSQL attribute in the Ad Hoc element of the _Settings.lgx file. A paper describing the ActiveSQL implementation may be found on DevNet.
General: New Report StylesheetsEnhanced the Ad Hoc report presentation options by incorporating multiple new, consistent stylesheets.
Charts: Java-based AnimationEnhanced the charting capability by providing an alternative to the Flash-based animated charts. The JavaScript animated chart option allows the animated charts to be rendered seamlessly on a variety of mobile devices and modern browsers.
Dashboards: Improved CapabilityEnhanced the capability of dashboards in Ad Hoc by fitting the content to the panels (minimizing scroll bars), providing more flexible dashboard layouts including a free-form option, and presenting a more intuitive dashboard user interface.
