Ensures that a date value has been entered. The date must conform to the Format. The format must be either a specific format such as "M/d/yyyy" or the name format "Short Date".

Validation.Date can also ensure that the date falls within a date range, specified with the RangeStart and RangeEnd attributes. To pass the validation, the date must be on or after the RangeStart, and be on or before the RangeEnd.

If the validation does not pass, the ErrorMsg will be displayed in a message box. Also, if the Class is set, the InputElement's appearance will change according to that class.

The date value will be formatted in the server to the unambiguous form yyyy-mm-dd.
