Expressions should be in VBScript or JavaScript syntax. For .NET versions, the scripting language can be set in the _settings.lgx General element. For Java versions, the scripting language is always JavaScript.
Typically, you would compare values using an operator, such as "@Session.value~ < 0".
Use quotes when working with strings:

| TimePeriodCulture | | Time Period Columns can be culture-aware. This can change the text returned with the periods that return names and abbreviations. And the day of the week number can be different for different cultures too. Set the TimePeriodCulture to a specific culture value or get the client browser's culture with "@Function.UserCulture~". The default TimePeriodCulture is the "invariant" culture, which is basically US English.
