Element Details: Sort+Filter
 Back

Available in: Logi Info Source code name: SortFilter

Sort Filter sorts the rows of the DataLayer. This can be quite useful when you would like the data sorted but the data source does not provide the functionality, such as with a Stored Procedure, XMLFile, or WebService DataLayers. Usually, SQL DataLayers are better sorted at the database level with an ORDER BY clause.

You may specify more than one column. Enter multiple column names into the SortColumn attribute, separating each with a comma. Multiple DataTypes and multiple SortSequences may also be entered in the same way.
