|
ChartLabelColumn | | Set this to a column returned from the DataLayer. It represents the name of each item, or data value, charted. For charts with x and y axes, these are listed across the x-axis. |
ChartYDataColumn | | (Required) Specifies the name of a datalayer column whose values will be plotted along the Y-axis. |
Colors | | Sets the element's colors in cases where multiple colors should be listed. For example, for pie charts, each slice should be a different color. You can set these colors by specifying color names or RGB values, each separated by a comma. When there are more slices than colors, the list starts back at the beginning.
RGB values should include the hash character, for example: #FF0000 |
DisableMouseTracking | | Disables mouse tracking for a specific series, when set to "True". This affects tooltips and click events on graphs and points. For large datasets, this may improve performance.
The default value is "False".
|
HoverBrightness | | HoverBrightness allows customization of regions' brightness when the mouse pointer hovers over charts.
Values can be between 0 (no change) and 15 (lighter).
The default is 2.
|
ID | | The ID attribute is a pervasive attribute that uniquely identifies an element within a definition file. The ID needs to be a unique value within the definition. |
LabelLocation | SideLayout |
NoLabels |
Legend |
| Specifies how the labels will appear. Select:
- “SideLayout” to have labels appear outside the chart, with arrows connecting them to slices.
- “Legend” to have slices identified in a legend. The legend can be clicked to toggle the visibility of individual slices in the pie.
- “NoLabels” to hide the labels altogether.
The default value is "SideLayout".
|
NeckHeight | | The height of the neck, the lower part of the funnel.
Specifying a number defines the neck height in pixels. A percentage string defines a percentage of the plot area height.
The default is 25%. |
NeckWidth | | The width of the neck, the lower part of the funnel.
Specifying a number defines the neck width in pixels. A percentage string defines a percentage of the plot area width.
The default is 30%. |
ShowDataValues | | Indicates if the values of each data point should be shown on the chart.
For TrendLines, displays the line's slope value. |
ShowDataValuesFormat | | Allows a string to be formatted in various ways, especially for numeric and date values. Specifies formatting characteristics for the data.
This attribute has been borrowed from the Microsoft Visual Basic Format function. For more information: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/59bz1f0h(VS.71).aspx
For dates, the non-specific formats, such as "General Date", "Short Time", etc., are converted according to the browser's international setttings. Also, for very large reports, the non-specific formats perform better.
There are also some special formats.
"<" and ">" change strings to lower and upper case.
"Expanded Spaces" preserves space characters that would otherwise be collapsed by the web browser.
"HTML" preserves HTML tags so that they are not encoded - they are embedded rather than shown.
"Preserve Line Feeds" preserves line feed and cariage return characters so that the following characters appear on a new line.
"mp" formats numbers with the "metric prefix". To format 1,234,567 as "$1.23M", use Format "$#.00mp". Supported metric prefixes are from 1000^6 to 1000^-6 For more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metric_prefix
"mpsx" formats the value with x number of significant figures in addition to the metric prefix. So a value of 123456, with format set to mps3 will return 123k.
"qq" returns the number of the quarter when the value being formatted represents a date. To return the year and quarter together like "2010 Q1", set the format to "yyyy Qqq". |
Transparency | | Indicates a level of transparency of the element. The lowest value of 0 indicates that the element is opaque, with no transparency. The other end of the scale, 15, indicates a completely transparent element. Use medium-level transparency to allow different chart layers to show through each other. |
