Element Details: Series.Area+Spline+Range
 Back

Available in: Logi Info Source code name: Series.AreaSplineRangeIntroduced in: v11.2.040

The Series.Area Spline Range element creates an Area Spline Range chart within the chart canvas.

Area Spline Range charts are similar to Area Spline charts, except they have a non-zero bottom. The bottom of the Area Spline Range chart is defined by an additional data column.

Element Group: Chart Series

NamePossible ValuesDescription
AreaLineColor
UserDefined
Sets the color for the data region's border line. Enter a color by name, decimal RGB value, or hex RGB value. Prefix hex values with the pound sign, e.g. #112233.
AreaLineColorTransparency
UserDefined
7
15
0
Indicates a level of transparency of the element. The lowest value of 0 indicates that the element is opaque, with no transparency. The other end of the scale, 15, indicates a completely transparent element. Use medium-level transparency to allow different chart layers to show through each other.
ChartHighValueDataColumn
UserDefined
(Required) Specifies the name of the datalayer column containing the high data value for each row.
ChartLowValueDataColumn
UserDefined
(Required) Specifies the name of the datalayer column containing the low data value for each row.
ChartXDataColumn
UserDefined
Specifies the name of a datalayer column whose values will be plotted along the X-axis.
ChartXDataColumnType
Text
Number
DateTime
Auto
Specifies the data type of the datalayer column named in the X-axis Data Column attribute. Options include "Auto" (the default), "Text", "Number", and "DateTime".
Color
UserDefined
Sets the element's color. Enter a color by name, decimal RGB value, or hex RGB value. Prefix hex values with the pound sign, like #112233. For bar charts, each bar can be a different color by entering multiple colors, each separated by a comma. When using a Crosstab Filter under the Chart's DataLayer, use comma-separated colors and a Legend element so each crosstab set can be identified.
CombineWithSeriesID
UserDefined
When two series are combined, by default only the first one will appear in the legend. Clicking the item in the legend toggles both series to appear and disappear. Set this attribute to the element ID of another series to combine it with this series in the legend. Or, the value "Previous" can be entered to combine this series with the previous series.
ConnectNulls
True
False
Specifies if data rows with null or blank values are to be ignored, allowing adjacent values to be connected in the chart. The default value is "False".
DisableMouseTracking
True
False
Disables mouse tracking for a specific series, when set to "True". This affects tooltips and click events on graphs and points. For large datasets, this may improve performance. The default value is "False".
HoverLineThickness
UserDefined
Sets the thickness of the line, in pixels, when the mouse pointer is hovered over it. The default value is 1 pixel.
ID
UserDefined
The ID attribute is a pervasive attribute that uniquely identifies an element within a definition file. The ID needs to be a unique value within the definition.
LegendLabel
UserDefined
Indicates text that will be shown for this layer inside the chart legend.
LineThickness
UserDefined
The thickness of the line, in pixels.
LinkedToXAxisID
UserDefined
Specifies the ID of an X-Axis element that this series should be linked to when using multiple X-axes.
LinkedToYAxisID
UserDefined
Specifies the ID of an Y-Axis element that this series should be linked to when using multiple Y-axes.
NegativeColor
UserDefined
Sets the color for negative values. Enter a color by name, decimal RGB value, or hex RGB value. Prefix hex values with the pound sign, e.g. #D5F484.
NegativeColorTransparency
UserDefined
7
15
0
The related Negative Color attribute sets the color for negative values. Negative Color Transparency adds transparency to that color. The lowest value of “0” specifies that the value color is opaque, with no transparency. At the other end of the scale, “15” specifies a completely transparent color. Use medium-level transparency to allow different chart layers to show through each other.
NegativeFillColor
UserDefined
Sets the area fill color for negative values. Enter a color by name, decimal RGB value, or hex RGB value. Prefix hex values with the pound sign, e.g. #D5F484. The default value is "Red".
NegativeFillColorTransparency
UserDefined
7
15
0
The related Negative Fill Color attribute sets the color for negative values. Negative Color Fill Transparency adds transparency to that color. The lowest value of “0” specifies that the fill is opaque, with no transparency. At the other end of the scale, “15” specifies a completely transparent fill. Use medium-level transparency to allow different chart layers to show through each other.
NegativeThreshold
UserDefined
Sets the positive-negative value threshold, also called the “zero level” or “base level”. For Line charts, this is only used in conjunction with the Negative Color attribute. The default value is 0.
SeriesLineStyle
Solid
ShortDot
ShortDashDotDot
ShortDashDot
ShortDash
LongDashDotDot
LongDashDot
LongDash
Dot
DashDot
Dash
SeriesLineStyle sets the pattern on the line to dashes and dots.
Transparency
UserDefined
7
15
0
Indicates a level of transparency of the element. The lowest value of 0 indicates that the element is opaque, with no transparency. The other end of the scale, 15, indicates a completely transparent element. Use medium-level transparency to allow different chart layers to show through each other.
