A Sequence Column adds a new column in the DataLayer that is a sequence integer of each row. The column can be used like any other column. The first row of the datalayer in a sequence is assigned a 1.

Set the ID to the name of the new column.

In report definitions, Sequence numbers may be recalculated when a DataTable is sorted by clicking on a column header. Set ReCalculateAfterSort to True. Setting the value to False (or any value besides True) is the same as using the token variable @Function.RowNumber~.

In an ETL job definition, the ReCalculateAfterSort attribute is ignored.

Expressions should be in VBScript or JavaScript syntax. For .NET versions, the scripting language can be set in the _settings.lgx General element. For Java versions, the scripting language is always JavaScript. Typically, you would compare values using an operator, such as "@Session.value~ < 0". Use quotes when working with strings: "@Session.myValue~" == "SomeValue"
