A Running Total Column adds a new column in the DataLayer based on the sum of all previous values of another column. The column can be used like any other column.

Set the ID to the name of the new column.

Set DataColumn to a numeric column to be tallied.

In a report definition, Running Totals may be recalculated when a DataTable is sorted by clicking on a column header. Set ReCalculateAfterSort to True.

In an ETL job definition, the ReCalculateAfterSort attribute is ignored.

(Required) The ID attribute is a pervasive attribute that uniquely identifies an element within a definition file. The ID needs to be a unique value within the definition.
